Crews are working to restore power to hundreds of customers after a truck took out a power line this morning.

The accident happened on Howard Street in Spartanburg.

A driver made a delivery at a nearby business and left with a boon up, which struck a power line. The tension from the lines snapped a power pole. No one was hurt in the accident.

Duke Energy reports about 650 customers in the area are without power and estimates power will be restored by noon today.
