Easley, S.C. – Republican candidates for State House of Representatives Districts 4 and 5 are set to face off in a forum hosted by Pickens County Republican Party (PCGOP) at Tri-County Technical College in Easley on Thursday, April 26 at 7pm. The Easley campus of Tri-County Technical College is located at 1774 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.

The forum will consist of all Republican candidates who filed for House district 4, representing Pickens, Dacusville, and Liberty, and House district 5, representing greater Easley. Candidates will answer questions from Pickens county residents as the candidates vie for votes in the upcoming June 12 primary.  The free, public Q&A forum will allow voters to directly engage with the candidates on issues that the voters find important.

“Allowing Pickens County residents the opportunity to vet candidates for office is a key function of the county party,” said PCGOP Chairman Rick Tate. “Today in SC, we face a crumbling infrastructure, a failing education system, and a good ol’ boy political system. I look forward to hearing positive and substantive solutions to the issues facing our state and invite all of my fellow Pickens County residents to attend the forum.”

Candidates for House District 4 include Representative Davey Hiott and Philip Healey. Candidates for House District 5 include Representative Neal Collins, David Cox, and Allan Quinn.
