Banner Year for Real Estate

2017 shows all up for Greenville

2017 was a banner year for real estate in Greenville.  Area prices continue to rise.

Home prices went up by about $10,000 last year and homes were on the market about a week less than 2016.

Nearly 12-thousand properties were sold last year according to the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors, making 2017 the best year yet for sellers, realtors and the industry in general.

What was the most expensive home sold in Greenville last year?  It was a 300-acre horse farm in Fountain Inn, closing for $2.75 million.  But it’s not the most expensive home that was for sale last year.  That goes to a property with its own indoor driving range near Chanticleer Golf Course.  The realtor tells us that, some years ago, it was listed at $7.9 million.  But right now, the listing price, including wine cellar, pool and 6 fireplaces, is $7.5 million.

Interested in buying that home (or maybe just looking?)  See the listing here.
