West Virginia signs prep guard Trey Doomes

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — West Virginia has signed guard Trey Doomes for the 2018-19 men's basketball season.

Coach Bob Huggins announced Doomes' signing Monday.

The 6-foot-3 Doomes attends University School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Last season as a junior he averaged more than 18 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals per game at Allatoona (Georgia) High School.

Doomes joins Derek Culver of Boardman, Ohio, Andrew Gordon of Clearwater, Florida and Jordan McCabe of Kaukauna, Wisconsin, in the Mountaineers' recruiting class.
